LABMED Salutes Our Labrador Heroes

Throughout history, in times of stress, people have turned to quilting. In today's stressful times, why not continue the tradition and salute the heroes among us?

We all have heard the stories of the canine heroes of 9/11. The service dogs that guided their masters to safety and the dogs that searched endlessly, initially for survivors, then had the sad task of recovery. There also are the 'unsung' heroes, the dogs with whom we share our lives. The ones that offer comfort to 'the rest of us' everyday.

LABMED wishes to salute all of our Labrador heroes with a red, white and blue quilt. The finished quilt will be raffled off at the National Specialty on October 11, 2002 (need not be present to win).
