Success Stories

Buddy14, March 2002

Buddy14 Buddy is a young, chocolate Lab in Oklahoma. His rescuer was driving when she saw another car hit Buddy. The driver that hit Buddy didn't stop, but his rescuer did. Poor Buddy had a badly injured front foot. His foot had a lot of missing skin and a couple of his toes were broken. For a while, it looked like Buddy's foot might have to be amputated, but that did not turn out to be the case. The veterinarian treated Buddy and changed the bandage frequently. The rescuer took him home to foster.

LABMED funded the treatment of Buddy's foot. It slowly healed. Buddy's foster home happily became his adoptive home.
