Gibson, December 2004

Gibson is the December Buddy Arnold Memorial Fund Dog

Gibson

Gibson is a 10 month old black male lab, who was picked up by animal control as a stray in Nov. '04. It was immediately apparent that Gibson's leg was broken. After an initial examination by a vet, it was determined that Gibson suffered a transverse fracture of his right femur. The vet pinned his broken femur together in surgery. Thankfully, Gibson's overall health was good, and the vet commented on what terrific disposition he had. While Gibson spent time in the vet clinic healing, he was the official greeter of the patients. Local high school kids even rallied around Gibson, raising some much needed funds to help with the surgery. He spends his days recouping, laying on a plush dog bed in his foster home, waiting for adoption.
