Gwen, November 1996
Gwen is a 5 year old, black female Lab who was rescued from a shelter by Labrador-L list member Michelle Loewy, of Albany Lab Rescue. In addition to normal preventative medicine, veterinarians discovered she needed to have a hematoma surgically repaired and a tumor removed. LABMED provided funds to help cover some of the surgical/medical expenses for her. Thanks to Michelle, Gwen is now living with a loving family.
