Jaeda, May 2004

Jaeda is a Maia's Memorial Fund Dog

Jaeda

This young black Lab mix was found by the side of the road near Garden Ridge, TX after she had been hit by a car. Her cries were heard by a vet living in the area, and Jaeda was given emergency care for her injuries. Provided with a foster home by the Schertz Humane Society, Jaeda would need surgery to repair a broken elbow. Some money was raised locally to help Jaeda, but the Humane Society lacked the funds to proceed with Jaeda's surgery until an Internet search led them to LABMED.

With the additional funding provided by LABMED, Jaeda was able to have the surgery that would allow her to run and play again. When her recovery is complete, Jaeda will be ready to find a new family of her own to complete her second chance in life.
