Am I not the cutest little girl you have ever seen?! I won't be this small for too much longer. I was so lucky to have LABMED help fund me and now I am on my way to a healthy second chance. Here is my story...
My name is Lizzie and in this picture I am a 6 week old black Lab mix. My family had just adopted me from the Greater Birmingham Humane Society and I became very sick. They took me to the vet and I was diagnosed with parvo virus and giardia. I had to be on IV fluids, antibiotics and in isolation. Even as ill as I was, everyone could see my sweet personality. I love to cuddle and be held. I just knew I had to get better soon because my new family was waiting for me.
A fellow Lab lover told my new family about LABMED. My family sent an application to LABMED and here I am! LABMED helped fund my much needed care. If I could see you all in person I would give you a big wet Lab smooch to tell you thanks. With my second chance I can grow up and continue to get those cuddles that we all love.
