Success StoriesMorrison, February 2008
We will never know if Morrison lost his front leg in a trap or another tragic accident, but it is clear that he owes his life to a kind stranger and a compassionate veterinarian. During a stormy, rainy night, this young chocolate Lab walked in front of just the right person who rushed him to a veterinarian for emergency care. With the remainder of his missing limb removed and a large wound on his shoulder now healed, Morrison is enjoying life with his rescuer who reports that he runs, jumps and loves to ride in the car (from which he has temporarily been exiled after chewing off the seat belt buckles and door locks). LABMED was pleased to help with the discounted emergency cost while his new caretaker assumed responsibility for his neutering and preventative care. |
