This six year old California girl had a hard life. She was turned in because she had hip dysplasia and was no longer any good for breeding. The previous owner had used her for breeding all her life without any health maintenance. Sadie also had a terrible ear infection when she was brought in to be euthanized. The owner relinquished her to Senior Pet Adoption Program.

Sadie adjusted well to her new foster family, and even tried to mother the Dachshund that was also fostered there. LABMED provided funds for Sadie's bilateral FHO surgeries. At last report, Sadie was doing well, recovering from the ear infections and hip surgery. Sadie's new life is full of loving people, unlike her years of neglect. We are happy LABMED could help this sweet, black Lab.
