Commitment to a rescued dog doesn't end with its adoption, as Sammy No's caretaker quickly learned when he was hit by a car and required extensive lifesaving surgery. With a very bad fracture of the right front leg and permanent nerve damage to his left front leg requiring amputation, she didn't hesitate to assume responsibility for a previously neglected dog that she had already nursed back to health. CareCredit helped with financing of a $7,000+ bill for care at a specialty practice, and LABMED was pleased to play a supporting role in the funding.
