Wilson, October 1997

Wilson is a four year old yellow male who was found wandering the streets of downtown Columbus, Ohio. His rescuers gradually pieced together his story. His owner was in jail and had been unable to place Wilson in a permanent home. One potential adoptive family was unable to take him because Wilson tested positive for heartworms. He desperately needed treatment for heartworms so that he could be placed in a new home. LABMED and the Central Ohio Labrador Retriever Club were able to provide funds for Wilson's medical treatment.
