Henry, June 1999

At the Kennebec Valley Humane Society in Maine, Lab and Lab-mixes are unfortunately the most common visitors. But fortunately for Henry, a young adult black male Lab found as a stray, one of the staff members there had found LABMED on the internet. Henry found a special place in the hearts of the shelter workers because of his remarkable Lab temperament. LABMED and the Kennebec Valley Humane Society shared the cost of funding Henry's heartworm treatment, making him an adoptable dog and giving him a second chance.
