Success Stories

Lucky3, March, 2001

Lucky3 Lucky, a small one-year-old black male from Ohio, was turned over to a veterinary clinic by a Good Samaritan who had seen Lucky get hit by a car. Lucky had a broken right front leg and had lost some of his incisors. He was also found to have a urinary tract infection and roundworms. Attempts to find his owner proved fruitless, but Lucky was lucky indeed. A veterinary technician at the clinic took Lucky into her care and contacted LABMED to help with his mounting medical expenses. We were happy to be able to do so and get Lucky back on the road to good health.

Lucky is now doing very well and has been adopted by a family described as being "just perfect" for him. His leg is healing well, his mouth is fine after his gum was sutured back into place, the infection has cleared up, and he is heartworm- and roundworm-free!
