Success StoriesThanks for visiting our Success Story page! Here are links to the stories of the dogs we've helped. Each has faced the loss of his or her home as well as painful injuries and medical treatments. In spite of their pain, these wonderful dogs have exhibited the gentle, loving disposition so typical of Labs. Giving dogs like these a second chance is what LABMED is all about. If you are interested in adopting one of the dogs LABMED has funded, check this list for available dogs and contact information. Since our list of success stories was getting quite long we decided to sort them by area. Click on the state on the map below to read stories of dogs from that state. Links to dogs funded outside the US are below the map.
You can also see a list of the dogs in chronological order and in alphabetical order. Not all LABMED stories are Success Stories in the usual sense of the word. Please read Wilbur's Story and Hope's Story. Davey's case led to our researching on-line information about poisons, and Colby's story contains information about responsible pet ownership. Even less-than-successful outcomes for one dog can sometimes lead to something good for others. |
