Mo, December 2001

At 4 years old, Mo from Georgia had already been through two owners. He was with his first owner until he was 6 months old and a neighbor managed to talk the abusive owner into letting her have the puppy. When his second family was evicted from their home, Mo needed somebody else to take care of him and his present rescuer stepped in to foster him until she could find a permanent home.

Mo was heartworm positive and his foster mom asked LABMED to help pay for the treatment. We were glad to be able to help and together with Labrador Life Line funded Mo's treatment.

Mo tolerated the treatment well and hopefully this dog, who was described as a "sweet, good dog, just a big ol' baby", will find his forever home soon.
